Spruce Landscapes is a Sydney based residential landscape design and project management team. We create beautiful and unique gardens, that are not only easy to maintain, but are personalised to the needs and wants of our clients, incorporating thoughtful design solutions.

As a member of AILDM (Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers) you can be assured that we have the appropriate qualifications and knowledge to achieve an end result that exceeds your expectations.

We create landscapes for all property types, following industry guidelines and where possible, all measures are taken to recycle existing materials and minimise future water use, ultimately reducing your costs and the impact on our environment.

Spruce Landscapes also specialises in the design, construction and project management of landscape makeovers, focusing on smart designer style strategies, that transform homes and their gardens.

Book a consultation

The consultation fee is $165 including GST for the Sydney metropolitan area and usually takes between 60-90 minutes. We happily work on projects out of area and can negotiate a consultation fee with you at your request.

In most cases the landscape design process begins with an on-site consultation. This meeting will help us gather information about your ideas and requirements, as well as understanding the unique aspects of your site. From there we formulate ideas that become the basis of your concept plan. We follow up with a concept outline and design proposal stipulating our fees and services.

Concept Design

Once you agree to proceed, a detailed survey of the site may be required. If unavailable, this survey can be organised through us. Some projects may only require a site analysis. This can be determined during consultation stage.

1 3D Perspectives and material palettes
This is the part of the design process that gives both designer and client the ability to see what the landscape will really look like. Shape, colour, scale and materials combine to give a clear design vision.

2 Landscape Concept Plan
Now, a scaled concept drawing, including levels will be drafted and budgetary guidelines supplied, so that any necessary alterations may be addressed at the next stage of the design process.

3 Revisions, additional details, construction drawings or lighting plans
Final proofing occurs at this stage of the design process. Additional plans may be required, along with fine tuning of any design concept details.

4 Quotation Stage-including construction, maintenance and project management
At this stage, we will engage a landscape contractor, suitable for your projects requirements, to provide final quotes for the construction and future maintenance of your landscape. Additional quotes can be obtained at a negotiated project management fee.

To ensure that your landscape is completed to the highest level, we offer to oversee the construction and planting of your garden. Managing your project ensures that design intentions are not compromised and allows us to make those final adjustments in order to achieve the perfect result.
